This is to inform you
of the recent developments in respect of apartment properties in Kochi.
The government has now
decided to enforce restrictions on the permission for construction of
apartments in the city of Kochi by cutting down the total area one can
build in a given area of land by 50%. This will directly have an impact
on the pricing of properties since the land cost will have to be doubled
to accommodate this restriction.
This means an increase
of around rupees four hundred in Panampilly Nagar where our
SILVER STREAK is coming up and hundred to hundred and fifty
in Vennala, the location of SAPPHIRE HEIGHTS.
As a result we have been forced to increase our costing with effect from
15th Dec’06, but have decided to soften the impact by
absorbing half of the escalation for the time being.
